We come from all over. We hold Doctorates, Master’s Degrees, Law degrees, Business qualifications and some with not even a high school diploma – an army comprising of highly motivated people who communicate well and enjoy working together is a guaranteed winning formula for success.
We have very tough bosses – you, our clients. As such, we never compromise with regard to the quality of our work output. We value your support in our “non-conventional” and anti-discriminatory hiring practices which have resulted in a diverse group of team members all hired on merit and nothing more. Because of the diversity of talents we have, our strategies are not “textbook” – we survive by being able to think outside the box. Our Partners’ Troops just want to get the job done…and though it may indeed be necessary, our first port of call is not to waste time in drafting Judicial Review applications…our team, like a good army, understands the battlefield.

Partners is spearheaded by May Lam, a UK qualified Barrister and the founder of Partners Corporate Services and has nearly 30 years’ experience in advising on regulatory matters for foreign direct investment.
As the Managing Director, May plays a very hands-on role in the management of key accounts and is the principal consultant for our international MNC clients.
Ima Malek

Ima joined Partners as a fresh graduate in 2003 and is today an Executive Director and Head of Practice. Ima is responsible for the oversight of client delivery and practice management. As Partners is unique in its focus on Government licensing work, Ima is recognized as an authority in this field, especially in relation to the technical administration of cases. Ima has an astute understanding of the Government landscape in Malaysia and this helps to maintain the two-way information flow between Partners and the various agencies we work with to ensure that we are armoured with the latest updates coming out from the key Ministries.
Ima is recognized for being both reactive to developments in the regulatory and governance environment and proactive in areas related to compliance awareness both internally and for our international clients. Ima has served as the Account Manager for the delivery of services under some of our largest corporate contracts from industries as diverse as retail, education and manufacturing.
Working collaboratively within the compliance teams of our clients, Ima ensures that their local operations follow international Best Practice methodologies at all times.
Warren Salbankumaran

Warren joined Partners as a fresh graduate in 2007 and today manages our Licensing Division as our Senior Manager and Associate Director. With his experience in working a diverse portfolio of clients from a wide spectrum of industries, Warren has comprehensive knowledge of the Malaysian regulatory landscape and processes. He works with our clients to ensure that the client experience is professional, efficient and stress-free.
Having worked his way up from the Company’s ranks, Warren has the technical knowledge to command respect from his colleagues and clients. Warren’s approach is to study any given problem to evaluate situations from the perspective of the Regulator/Decision-Maker and clients alike.
Warren’s strength is undoubtedly on the Battlefield. Where applications are time critical, Warren handles the technical and operational complexities with military precision. He is there to Win.
